Your Accommodation for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.


Welcome to our home in the heart of the village of Horton-in Ribblesdale.  Here you will find a friendly smile & welcome from Johanne and Stephen at the The Willows Bed and Breakfast.

Are you coming to test your endurance on theYorkshire Three Peaks Challenge ?  (Walking or running Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, Ingleborough in under 12 hours)  Or just visiting the Yorkshire Dales National park for: a charity walk, a spot of sightseeing, steam train spotting, fell walking or running, cycling, motor biking, or just some simple relaxtion ?  May be you are just passing through on The Pennine Bridleway, Pennine Way, Dales Way or even walking from Lands End to John O'Groats ?  Exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is a fantastic spot for refreshing spring, summer & autumn breaks.  Also an ideal place & enjoy some of the lovely deep snow in winter, we have had here over the past few winters.

Whatever the reason, we welcome you ALL: tourists, sightseers, walkers, ramblers, climbers, mountain bikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, or horse riders.  Perhaps you are  just looking for a romantic break ?  You will find it here at The Willows in our luxuriously comfortable rooms & en-suites.  A friendly smile will greet you from Johanne and Stephen.  The kettle will be on to greet you. Warm yourself &. to sit beside our  lovely log burning stove to take complementary tea/coffee cake/biscuits.  

Please Note: 
In our tiny village we have many hundreds of walkers are looking for accomodation on Fri & Sat evenings during the walking season / charity 'walking season' usually from mid MARCH to end of October.  During this time only two night bookings are offered at providers in our little village.  So you are not disappointed in finding that all accomodation has already been booked, we advise you to book several months in advance of your stay.  Please note, we like other accommodation providers in Horton ONLY offer two night bookings on Fri & Sat evenings.

Here at The Willows we regard our guests sleep quality seriously!  We do our best to make you drift off into that perfect, restful nights sleep.  We ONLY use exceptionally comfortable, high quality memory foam mattresses, on our beds.  These memory foam mattresses are furnished with luxurious High Count Egyptian Cotton bedding.  Flat screen TV/DVD with  Free View.  Plus complimentary Wi-Fi through our B&B,  Each of our three individually designed & decorated room - each have their OWN recently re-fitted hi-spec bathing facilities. (Two luxurious En-suites. Plus one Private Bathroom to the twin bedroom.  Relax those aching muscles in the doubled ended bath with complementary selection of bath soaks.  Also available in this bathroom - large Matki shower cublcle with electric shower.  We offer sensible size bottles of: shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, bath soaks, ladies products, plus many extra toilettes for you to indulge yourself while staying at The Willows B&B.

We offer in each our three rooms:  Hot drinks trays with a fantastic selection of: Teas / Yorkshire, Nescafe coffee & decaff.  Herbal & fruit teas.  Latte & Hot Chocolate.  Plus delicious, individually wrapped biscuits.  Large jugs of ice chilled fresh Yorkshire water to hydrate you.  Hair dryer & Alarm Clock for early morning '3 Peaks of Yorkshire' walks.  We offer: Complementary WiFi Internet throughout  The Willows B&B.

Wanting an extra early morning start on the fells ? Then no problem ! We will be up for you, to makebreakfast from 6am.  Firstly, you can start on a vast selection of many different cereals, local creamy fresh yoghurts, fresh fruit juice, extra pots of breakfast nuts & seeds & fresh fruit.  We also have on offer from after 6am, a breakfast sandwich, of either delicious dry cure bacon or a veggie sausage.

Walking down the lanes to get to our village & also on your journey through fells & moors, your boots & trail shoes may become a muddy.  As we do try to keep the 'mud n muck' at the front door of our home - we politely ask you to kindley remove & store inside our large centrally heated porch area, ALL your shoes / boots.  You may change into your slippers here.  Store & dry here any walking poles, plus any other muddy gear you may have.  If you wish, you may use our garage to drop dry any larger items of wetter / muddier walking geat.  Riding tack / Bicycles / Motor bikes / Tents etc/  Come-in, relatx, Warm yourself beside our lovely log burning stove where you can take complementary Yorkshire tea / Fresh brew coffee with delicious cake / biscuits.



Annually during the ‘Walking Season’ - Mid March to End October - 
There is a minimum of two night stay on Fri & Sat evenings.  
(Also applicable to: Bank Hol Week-ends / Boxing Day / N. Years Day)

** For the comfort of all our guests - We Welcome well behaved Children, but ONLY over the age of 12 years old. **

* * We do NOT permit dogs (Except Guide Dogs) onto our any part of our premises, or to be left in your car/van parked overnight on our drive way. **
